Killing me softly...

Born with Evil rooted in me
Its hard to tread water
Even harder to breathe

Over and OVER I sin yet AGAIN
And after every event
I think WHEN Jesus WHEN!

When will I learn the lesson at hand
When will I stop sinning
And stop being so BAD?

Forgive me I pray
And then I do it again
And every SIN time I fall into PAIN!

After the event
I think "YOU could have chosen BETTER!"
Why did I choose sin my poor heart to BATTER?

From birth i was cursed
Its in me for life
But Jesus did cleanse me from all my strife!

Even though it gets me down
I no longer need to wear a frown
Jesus' blood replaced it with a crown...

So up I get time and time again
But sin tries to push me down
With guilt shame and pain...

It SUCKS I CAN'T STAND IT
I PRAY for perfection
Alas that wont come till into Heaven i venture...
