Psalm 23 explained (Happy Sergi?)

The Lord is my Shepherd
That's Relationship!

I shall not want
That's Supply!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures
That's Rest!

He leadeth me beside the still waters
That's Refreshment!

He restoreth my soul
That's Healing!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
That's Guidance!

For His name sake
That's Purpose!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
That's Testing!

I will fear no evil
That's Protection!

For Thou art with me
That's Faithfulness!

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me
That's Discipline!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies
That's Hope!

Thou annointest my head with oil
That's Consecration!

My cup runneth over
That's Abundance!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
That's Blessing!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
That's Security!

Forever
That's Eternity!

Face it, the Lord is CRAZY about you!

i thought the lords prayer was:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

THE LORD'S PRAYER..

All text taken from the King James Bible

Matt.6:9-13 - ...Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed by thy name. (10) Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as [it is] in heaven. (11) Give us this day our daily bread. (12) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (13) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Our Father which art in heaven - God in heaven is your spiritual Father.

Matt.23:6 - And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which art in heaven.

Hallowed by thy name - Holy or sacred is thy name.

Is.6:3 - ...Holy, holy, holy, [is] the LORD of hosts: the whole earth [is] full of his glory.

Thy kingdom come - God will send Jesus back to earth again to set up his kingdom.

Rev.21:2-7 - And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. See - The Husbandman and The Bride--The Kingdom of God (3) And I (John) heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. (God will wald among his people again, as in the beginning.) (4) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow (illness), nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (5) And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he (God) said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (6) And he (God) said unto me, It is done, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of water of life freely. See Fountain of Living Waters vs. Cisterns. (7) He that overcometh shall interit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Thy will be done on earth as [it is] in heaven - That is we will do here on earth as is done in heaven.

Ps.103:20 - Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments hearkening unto the voice of his word.

In other words the good angels which dwell in heaven follow the commandments and we are instructed to follow the commandments on earth also. See - Parable of the Rich Young Ruler to be typed soon.

Rom.7:12 - Wherefore the law [is] holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Give us this day our daily bread -

John 6:35 - And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. See Meat of God or Bread of Life and Fountain of Living Waters vs. Cisterns

This is not referring to food and beverage for your stomach, but for your mind and your soul. It is referring to studying the scriptures of the Bible on a daily basis, and if you seek the word of the Lord daily, he will feed you with understanding of his word, and if you believe his word and follow the commandments--you will never thirst, God will not keep from you the knowledge, or meaning of his word. See Fountain of Living Waters vs. Cisterns and Ten Commandments

And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors -

Matt.6:14-15 - For if ye forgive men (people) their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: (15) But if ye forgive not men (people) their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

And lead us not into temptation -

Matt.26:41 - Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak.

James 1:2-4 - My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers (different) temptations; (3) Knowing [this,] that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (4) But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:12-15 - Blessed [is] the man that endureth tempation: for when he is tried, he shall receive a crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. (13) Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man (person): (14) But every man (person) is tempted, when he (she) is drawn away of his (her) own lust, and enticed. (15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

So if you are not following God's commandments, but do your own thing, you are more easily tempted. Remember: the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

It is that little tug of war that goes on in our minds from time to time--"should I" or "shouldn't I", "do I" or "don't I"

Again -

James 1:3 - Knowing [this,] that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

but deliver us from evil: -

John 17:15 - I (Jesus) pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from evil.

II Peter 2:9 - The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reverve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Now we are back to the kingdom again - For thine is the kingdom - For God's kingdom is ours, with all its power and great glory, if we follow God's commandments now. Amen. See Rev.21:2-7 again.
